I feel inspired today!

It’s not often when you come across a pair of shoes that make you feel like you’ve made a difference.

I mean, there are shoes that can make a difference – those that make you taller, your legs look longer, you’re commute more comfortable or your outfit cooler. But today, as I walk along in my TOMS – Cobalt blue (my colour for summer!) I feel that my purchase has actually made a difference!

For every pair of TOMS shoes bought, the company donates a second pair to children across the globe who have no shoes. The brain child of Texan born Blake Mycoskie, who on a trip through Argentina came up with his design based on the local Alpargata shoe – worn by farmers. Light, comfortable and in a massive range of styles & colours they have become a global fashion sensation – and the best part? By September 2010 they had given away 1.000.000 pairs of new shoes to kids everywhere (including South Africa!!!)

These shoes, although flat make me feel waaaaaaay taller than any stiletto I own!

Go on, have an opinion... leave a comment!
